The SPACE concept at Nordstrom is unique to flagship stores. It sits adjacent to the established designer brands and requires a deep understanding of the subtle differences between the SPACE brands as each one has a unique personality. User flow, merchandising, and styling in this department are elevated yet playful, organized, and highly detailed. When a customer sees this department, they know they are someplace special. As such, SPACE is a receives regular floor plan iterations to keep products fresh and exciting while promising users to be inspired every time they visit.

Prioritizing SPACE products in the window displays and common areas signaled opportunity to users that might not usually visit Norstrom. Placing these products in main focal points throughout the store increased foot traffic and helped Norstrom acquire new users.
