Hi, there! I’m an artist and designer who loves nothing more than learning new things to craft great experiences. My professional background includes visual merchandising, starting a small business from scratch, and art consulting. In all of these roles, I have developed a passion for thoroughly researching and thinking about how a user might experience something (digitally and physically), and using that data to make informed design decisions.
All of this research and empathizing extends beyond the end user to my cross functional partners as well. In my mind, every challenge has better results when we’re working together to solve a problem. In my experience, this has cultivated creativity and made those inevitable painful moments far more bearable and meaningful.
As a designer, I have an affinity for clean and minimalist designs with a bit of flair. But at the end of the day, what I desire most is to learn something new and to be challenged to solve unique problems. (This extends to my hobbies as well!) For me, a great day is conceiving an idea (whether food, art, clothes, or even a toy for my kid) and testing out ways to make them exist. I love making magic a reality.
